What we collect, and why
YoPlanets! is an astrological matchmaking service. To do its one job — calculating your birth chart and comparing it with others — it needs your date, place and (optionally) time of birth. Because this is a dating service, we also process who you are looking for, which can reveal your sexual orientation. Both are processed only with your explicit consent, given when you create your account, and only for matchmaking within the service.
What others see
Other members see your username, your generated astrological profile, key chart placements, your approved photos, your age and birth place — never your exact birth data, email or anything else. Your birth date and time are readable only by you and the systems that compute your chart.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (EU region, Frankfurt) and the site runs on Netlify. Photos live in private storage and are only served through short-lived signed links. We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
Your rights
From your profile page you can export everything we hold about you as a file, and delete your account — deletion is immediate and removes your profile, birth data, chart, photos, messages, matches and subscription. You can also withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. Questions: contact us at the address on the About page.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in. No tracking, no ads.
